This is something I've done a few times now and really like it. I smoke my spares as usual, and then cut them into 2 rib pieces and crisp them up on the gasser to get a nice lite char on them. Then I toss them with a mix of 1/2 and 1/2 Melinda's xxxxReserve and Frank's hotsauce mixed with some honey and rub of choice and serve up with your favorite blue cheese dressing. Absolutely fantastic. Ribs went on at noon and should be munching by 6pm, quenching the heat with some good beer and brandy. Sit around the fire pit tonite and talk smart.
