I would like to mount a SMO25 on a cart to get me off the ground when using it. I would also like this cart to be versatile enough to roll out of my garage, over the lawn and sit on a back patio when in use. Has anyone seen one or made one? Pictures, ideas?

I made a cart for a smokin tex 1400 (about the same size as an 009) out of a large filing cabinet. Put an axel on one end with 6 in wheels and casters in front. My friend can wheel it from his shed to the deck with ease by tipping it back. (of course the smoker is bolted to cabinet).

Thanks you for your response. That is really clever. How did you bolt it to the cabinet?
The casters are threaded. So removed them got some 2 in bolts of same size. Positioned smoker on top of cabinet, marked hole locations, drilled holes in top. Pulled drawer out of cabinet and inserted bolts from bottom. I used fender washers above and below to provide more strength to top.
Thanks for the response, very helpful.
Most hardware's, harbor freight have tool stands for grinders etc. I got one took casters off smoker, mounted them to stand and bolted smoker to stand , works great.

Nice solution, thanks. This is the solution I ended up with. The cart came from Harbor Freight. The wooden top was from Menards. A friend of mine modified the wood to fit snugly between the smoker and the side of the cart.

I've been using an old $25 mail cart from a junk shop for the last 20 years. I cut a piece of 1/4" plywood with 1x2 strips screwed beneath for rigidity and to keep it in place, plus a hinged door in the top for access to the top basket for towels, gloves, chicken roasters and such. I left the bottom basket open for wood chunks, spray bottles, spare grills, etc. Six inch wheels in rear and casters in the front where the push handle is. The Smokette is not bolted down, but has never slipped a bit & I don't push it far.
u got any pic?
