Has anyone tried smoking catfish? I have 5 one pound pieces of catfish (whole catfish with out the heads and skinned)and would like to smoke them using my smokette. I have done other types of fish using the High Mountain fish brine and they turned out great, would I prepare them the same way?

Thanks Tom,

What I'm looking for is smoking the fish for a snack, since there is not allot of fish, I will split them down the middle, brine 1/2 of them and not the other half to see what I get. I will smoke them like I have done in the past, 185 deg. until they flake apart. No big deal if these don't turn, we can catch more this summer.
