CharcoalStore Small Cut Bourbon Chunks. Has anyone tried these?

The bourbon wood chunks sound great but before I order I would like to get some reviews from Cookshack folks. Has anyone tried these? What meat and what do you think?

I havent tried those exact chunks, but I use JD oak barrel chips a lot with chicken wings with great success.

I've tried over the years the various "soaked" woods and I wasn't able to tell a difference.

I DO however notice a difference when I add JD to my sauce...1 for the sauce, 2 for me, 1 for the sauce and so on.

Maybe others notice a difference and they'll let us know.
