Enjoyed the video clip. Too bad I'm invited out for thanksgiving meal this year. Oh well, turkey is great any weekend.

Consider doing MORE educational video clips for both new beginners and seasoned vets. Most CS customers and forum members would pop out $20.00 or so for a series on a DVD. It looks like you're already set up @ headquarters with an adequate camera/sound set up. Get the recipies out & BRING IT ON!
Good video! I think I'd bring everything to a boil first to insure saturation, no? How to get away with storing a 5 gallon bucket in the ref'r without the wife throwing a fit is something I'm working on. I think I'll be relegated to the ice chest this year.

Love to see anything 101 from Smokin'

Qnorth, did you ever get the video to work on your computer?

Yes I did.... I saw that there was a link later in the threads and tried that. And the timing was correct. Just tried the original link and now the timing is also correct. Just wondering if someone re-loaded it or what went wrong, but YouTube was showing me that it was only 2:18 in length.

All is fine now.
If you need a "food safe container" find a pickle bucket.

If you can't find that, then you have an excuse to go to a local restaurant supply store.

I found a PERFECT size that holds one turkey and minimizes air space (and I use less brine).

Of course, when I was there, I bought other stuff also Big Grin
