Well,I'm no yardbird expert,and that is a real open question.

Kinda depends on your area of the country for taste and what goes well with any sauce,brine,etc.

If you "hot cook",folks like Cookshack Chicken Rub,because it has no sugar to burn.

If you have a combo that you like now,stay with it.

A guy used to win a bunch with Head Country,so a bunch of folks still use it.

In my experience,how you cook the chicken will count a lot more than your rub.
