I put the wings on at the same time as the chicken breasts yesterday. Pulled off the breasts after about 90 minutes and left the wings on another hour and a half. In my opinion, they weren't that great. It's my fault too. I should have put them in after the breasts so it wouldn't suffer from me opening the door to the smoker to take the breasts out. They needed right at 4 hours too...in my opinion. But hey, it was my first day with it so I have lots of time to screw up...I mean learn from my mistakes.
I will say this about the 020; I love this thing! It does make some damn good tasting BBQ and it couldn't be easier and less of a fuss. Smoky flavor and juicy meat. What more could you ask for?
Next stop...catfish fillets...tomorrow.

Thanks Tom. I have a bunch of recipes for them. There's hardly anything you can't put on wings to keep them from tasting great. I knew the time they had to cook, but I think it was thrown off by me opening the smoker, getting the probe out of the breasts, and then removing the breasts. Live and learn. They were edible, but not the best. But I can't help but learn with the search (FIND) feature and all the help on here.
