I'm doing a 7-lb butt Sunday, but since it probably won't be done by dinner, I'd like to do a couple chicken leg quarters. too. At about 225, how long do you think the chicken needs to be smoked?

Personally I would not cook poultry with any other type meat; off-tastes, drippings, food safety, etc.
If you are going to do the leg quarters, two hours should do it. Make sure they reach 165* and juices are running clear. If uncertain, cook longer

Nothing wrong with doing a twofer with chicken, just put the chicken downstairs and go on cooking the good stuff.
Thanks. Two hours wasn't quite enough but it worked out well because I wanted to finish off in the oven with sauce.
