Whew! I sure wouldn't use a pressure washer on my unit. Too risky and no need to.

I scrape mine down maybe 1-2 time per year with something the equivalent to a credit card.

If it's really grimy I might wipe down the inside with a soft cloth and scrub the inside with a half or quarter lemon. It cuts thru the crud.

Some use "Simple Green."

Don't over-do it!

Remember, if you get it too clean you'll have to re-season it.

Bad idea. You should leave the seasoning on (that helps any smoker, lots of seasoning)

You don't want any water getting into the electronics or even into the walls (shouldn't be any gaps, but...) you don't want to compromise the insulation

Thank you for the prompt reply. I'll follow your suggestions for cleaning, and to be honest I did't think about the insulation. Sure enjoy this smokin", did 10 lbs of riblest yesterday and with the help of several friends they disappeared, almost immediately! JJohnson
