Hi everyone. Does anyone know why the Cookshack Series 70 commercial smoker and the residential Model 55 vary so much in price? I notice they both have the same product capacity. thanks. (this is probably the first of many questions. I'll be starting a barbecue place soon and am looking for the right equipment.)

If you're interested in a business, make sure you drop by the "pros" forum (near the bottom of the first page) they have frequent discussions about starting a business etc.

The main difference is the rating of the smoker. The commercial is NSF rated for restaurant use. It also has the electronic controls (the home use does not). Look at the top of the smoker and you'll see the differences. The NSF is a big difference.

And if you're interested in those, don't hesitate to call CS direct. They've helped more than a few restaurants start and they're full of some good info.
