Controller upgrade for SM150

I notice the CS is selling a replacement controller for the SM150 that apparently has the probe capability. Has anyone upgraded their smoker and how much of a job was it?

Unless you are a commercial operation,and have multiple entry level employees doing the cooking,are you sure it would be a cost effective upgrade?

Do you have a distinct use,and have you considered if it would be a help,or hindrance?
