I am thinking about taking my FEC100 to a competition in 10 days but they do not have electric so need a way to power the FEC 100 and possibly a stoker.
My 750 watt digital inverter that I bought from Walmart says it pulls around 250-260 watts when it is starting the FEC100 and drops to around 20-40 watts after the igniter goes off.
I am only going to be cooking ribs and chicken at this competition. I may go with just one Deep Cycle battery since I will only need about 5-6 hours of use.
I also am going to look at the option for putting batteries on the tongue of the trailer.
