i have had my elite for a couple of weeks. i wonder if they will give me the fathers day 10% discount? they did give me a 5% refund after i found it cheaper elsewhere, but another 5% discount would be nice.

these smokers are definitely worth the price. still, barely missing out on a sale like this kinda irks me

I re-checked the email and unfortunately it says "Discount is not good with any other special offers from Cookshack. Promotion begins May 15, 2009 and it is not retroactive to orders placed before May 15, 2009."

I just bought my 020 a few weeks ago at full-price. I definitely understand your frustration. But I guess in the long-run, the extra money won't matter too much.
