I read several suggestions about covering the woodbox with foil to ease cleanup, so I've been covering the top of it right along.
However, I recently turned to woodbox over and the bottom is coated with built-up, baked on grease, which has apparently run down the sides and across the bottom.
Now I'm wondering if most of you cover the entire box, sides and all?? If not, how do you eventually clean all of that off, or do you??

To whoever suggested using the oven broiler pan for a drip pan: Thank you! You are the man, or woman! It fits perfectly, is heavy enough it don't move in the wine, is coated for easy cleanup, and the color matches!
