i started using credit/debit machine just over 2 months ago. i was skeptical at first, but now i am happy to say sales have increased in part because of this device. as some customers tell me they almost never carry cash, i see them at my window often, odering and producing one card or another. i was fearful that the expense would be too much for the bother, but not the case. for me, anyway. they do seem to nickel and dime you to death, though. here is my rundown////
.0169 percent of each transaction
.20 cent per transaction
.30 cent each batch deposit
10.00 monthly statement fee
25.00 monthly machine lease
at first, i figured on 25 percent of my sales would be credit card, but it is lower, averaging at 18 percent. however, my overall sales are much higher now than three months ago. yea, i would say it was one of the greatest investments yet/
