I just popped for big jar of Spicy Mix, because I haven't had a better sauce than spicy in kit I bought with Amerique. I know y'all must have some suggestions on making a killer sauce even better... Having 4 good friend couples (first timers for smoker fair)over for Brisket and butt dinner tomorrow- Whataya think on sauce additions?

Good suggestions from both fine cooks.You don't mention where ya'll are from and that could have a lot to do with your tweaking.

In the South,folks might like their suggestions of a little sweet up front and a little back heat on their pork,or just some of Smokin's Vinegar Sauce mxed in with a little of your rub on some 50/50 bark and pulled chunks..Some chopped Vidalia Sweet onion and a couple dill pickle chips on the side..A cold Abita won't ever be turned down. Wink

You could paint the back of the brisket slices with a 50/50 blend of the Spicey and some good lo-salt beef broth,serve it with some chopped TX Sweet onion and thin sliced jalapenos with a cold Shiner's Bock.
