I have just dropped a cherry tree (old, edible sour type of cherry) and am also getting ready to drop an older apple tree as well. As simple as it sounds, I was wondering if I only needed to chop the wood into smaller logs and let season for a year before using, then split off pieces as needed. Is this it?
I havent smoked anything for a few weeks now. I am building a new patio/utility building which will also be home to my smokers and grill. Cant wait to finish the project as we will be breaking in the new patio with a good BBQ for all those that lended a hand.
