Dial Question???

I just unpacked my new Smokette and was going to season it. My question is that the dial will not turn past about 215 degrees. It does point to off when it is clicks off, so it is not a problem with the knob slipping on the shaft. What is the problem??

Have had this problem a couple of times with the stop on the thermostat sliding down in shipping. Give Tony a call on Monday at (800) 423-0698 and he can either get you a replacement or walk you through fixing it.
