Anyone have a good dry rub for chicken. I am waiting for my cs rubs but like to make my own too. I want to smoke a chicken today and mix the rub with some mayo? Any help? Cheers, Don

Smokin' has a good rub.
Myself, I use McCormick's poultry rub and mix it with Raw sugar,white pepper, and paprika.

Chef Paul's Chikky rub
1/4 cup Sugar
2 tablespoon(s) Paprika
1 tablespoon Onion powder
2 tablespoon(s) Seasoned salt
1/2 tablespoon Garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon Chili powder
1/2 tablespoon Lemon pepper
1 tablespoon Sage, dried
1/2 teaspoon Basil, dried
1/2 teaspoon Rosemary, dried
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
I use this rub all the time and like it a lot. Others have tried itand liked it also. I back of on the heat a bit, but you might like it just the way it is.

Most grocery store lemon pepper,used lightly are a good start.Chicken doesn't require a lot of rub.
Lawry's "Perfect Blend", availalbe at Sam's Club, is one of my standbys also.
