That is very nice! Its kinda of ironic thats my next wood working project i plan to make mine about 1 inch thick and im going to inlay it in the counter inbetween the stove and the sink. I was thinking of a starburst pattern but i like the design of yours also. I see it it etched is this a home made gift?

Board is 22x15 and is 2'3/4 thick. Black Walnut.They can engrave anything you like.They are pricy. It was perfectly level and was finished on both sides. Laser engraved care instructions on back.The board is also end grained not edge grained. Its a heavy sucker.

It's funny, I've made probably 8 - 10 boards for various people. Do I have one for myself??? What's that saying about the Cobblers son?

It's a beautiful piece of work and I used to have a butcher block table, but it was too tough to move every time I did in the Air Force.
If I ever build my own BBQ Shed for all my stuff (in our next house) I'll keep 'em in mind.
