Fan Maintenance

I read in a post that the fan on my FEC needed to be oiled every so often to keep it operational. How do you go about this? If anyone has some pictures I would appreciate it, I don't want the thing to shut down on me because I neglected the fan, especially at a contest. BTW, I probably need to add that I am mechanically challenged, thats why I need pictures (or explain it like I am in fifth grade). Thanks.
