Won some money with Clara's steak stuff this past weekend. No, I refound my touch with brisket (and got pretty lucky).
Cooking in a hurricane...I don't recommend it, but the FEC100 held temp steady (and held the canopy down too). Hoping to bring some money back from Fayetteville this weekend.

Congrats on the steak also Candy.. I had that combo on a filet last night... It was good. Good luck this weekend.
Quick report on Fayetteville contest! I've never seen so many motorcycles in my entire life. The contest was out about 7 miles from the rest of the Bikes, Blues & BBQ activities at at the parking lot of a large mall (this was no doubt a good thing). There were 30 teams. Heavy awards for GC, RGC and Third overall with $150 payout for 1st in each category. There was a last minute decision to change team names as we pulled into the parking lot. EJ's BBQ cooked the contest. We used 2 FEC100s and took 1st place in pork and RGC!
