FE conversion

Question: I have a friend that has an older FE200. After seeing my FEC he is interested in converting his FE to a pellet smoker, possibly using the controller that comes on the FEC. Is this even possible or should he just sell his FC and purchase a new FEC. Thanks for the imput

Do you mean the FEC IQ4 controller? I don't know the 200 well enough to answer.

I'd have him contact FE himself and ask.

CS doesn't normally sell parts except to current owners, so not sure he could even buy a IQ4 but he could always call CS if FE tells him it will work.

FEC IQ4 controller is correct. I think I have convienced him to sell his model 205 and purchase a new FEC100. It would be to much work for the end result. Thank you for your imput
