I'm not sure, but I believe Eddie said it's about 150. So I don't think it's good for cold smoking. That's a question I had for Stuart, how to make the FE/CS into a cold smoker.

I'm hoping to map out the smoker today or this weekend, shopping permitting, and maybe I can confirm the temp.

The smoke setting is the cooker just running on the timer mode in it's minimum setting. The fe100 this is 15sec on feeding pelets and 55sec off. this is what creates the smoke in the unit and the temp will vary a little with the differant seasons of the year. Winter you'll see from 150-180 and summer ussually it's around 200 degrees. Even though these are well insulated units weather does have a small effect. Yesterday I cooke 2 whole pork shoulders weighing about 17# apiece. I cooked them on the setting of 180 for 8 hours and then turned them up to 250 for 7 hours and were probably alittle over cooked but the bones pulled very well. On bigger cuts like this I like to flavor then cook. The temp they came off at internally was 185.
