I have seen two big motorhomes with lifts on the back for the owners' FEC100's. One of them, and I am very embarrassed that I can't remember the team's name was custom made and quite ingenious. (I saw it at the Stillwater (OK) Elks' Blazathon a few weeks ago.) The other one belongs to Bill (of Dixie Chicks fame) and I don't know if it is custom made or not. These lifts are quite slick. Just roll the FEC into place, hit a switch to lift it off the ground, secure it and roll on down the road. I don't have photos.

I don't know that I ever saw the lift on Bill's rig but he and Nina now transport the FE in an enclosed cargo trailer behind the rig.

There was a rig in Osage City that had a lift on the back of an RV that held an FEC and it looked way cool, but I did not get the name of the team, I saw it as they were pulling out

The one Bill and Nina were looking at, that was all power, was from the dealer at about $2300.
Smoke & Suds,found around John Trigg, has another from a dealer.
He has the bigger version of Trigg's coach.
Those that can work off of a SUV/pickup/very large sedan might be useful.
We are looking at options.

True,but it was the burgundy one across from us at Lakeland that blocked the whole turnin building. 
Donna, I'm so excited after hearing I had a lift on my RV. I've wanted one for the longest time. I just went out to look at it, and it looks just like a cargo trailer. Cool! LOL Bill
I'm looking into having a carrier built for my FE and was wondering what measures are necessary to protect the electronics from rain when being transported in this manner?
Cookshack sells a fine cover,that you can leave on when you cook.

JMack cookers have one. Mike put it together with an electrick wench to load,works well.
I was at the RV dealer today looking at motorhomes and saw one by Blue Ox that was auyomatic and would hold 500 pounds. Asked about price and was told around $850...I don't think the kid had any idia, but I'll try to buy it Fri. i think it will sell for 2400. We shall see.

I think Eddy had pics of the carrier set-up that Jack Sweeney of Rub It 'Til It Smokes has on the back of his motorhome. It is sweeeeeeeeet. He can raise his pit up so he can still pull his car behind his motorhome. Really awesome set-up and worth a look.
