FEC100 has finally arrived. Now for my first question. I have fired the unit up and I cannot seem to get the cook timer to work, what am I doing wrong?

You should hold down the cook time button and press the up and down arrows for whichever way you wish to go. Make sure it is not first asking for cook temp.
Once all is set, hit the start button.

Thanks for the reply John. I have gone thru and set cook profile, temp and time but when I hit start everything runs except my cook timer. Not quite sure what is happening here.
It will count backwards in 5min incriments. If it's not doing that then call Bill at Cookshack. It will need a new board.
Yes, to "fix" something, if our meager attempts don't help, Cookshack prefers you call Customer Service, they're great and they'll take care of you!
