FEC100 Ignitor Problem

The last three times I have cooked on my FEC100 my firepot doesn't light. I was reading through the forums before calling CS and I see a few people have had issues with the ignitor going bad. I also see where a couple of people have had issues with tripping GFCI breakers. Was this a result of the ignitor going bad? Prior to my firepot not lighting mine tripped the breaker.
If this was the issue then I deffinately know my ignitor has gone bad.

Yes,in my experience the bad ignitor was tripping my GFCI breaker.

Absolutely the ignitor can trip the GFCI. It sticks in my head that they cost about $60 and can be installed by the owner.
