Looking at purchasing a FEC100 soon, anybody know the difference between the FEC100 vs the FE100?

same thing basically.
FEC means FECookshack as they're now made by Cookshack. FE100 could refer to older models.
Consider them the same.
Just like the 750 is now the 2000 or is that backwards

Ok I could be wrong so if someone knows for sure please correct me. The original FE100 was based on the Traeger 100 unit with a modification fabricated by Fast Eddy. Although it is the same pellet feed system it does not have the same constructon as the Cookshack models. The Cookshack models can be devided into pre UL and post UL. The get the UL listing they had to modify the feeder system to go down a ramp to prevent back burns into the auger.
I think when you see them discussed out on the forums,the terms are interchangable.
Like Quigley said,Cookshack will consistently be making upgrades to fit the needs of the marketplace,without really changing the model name.
