I have an 8.5lb pork butt in the smoker for a little over 12 hours and I am getting temps at just about 159 set at 225. Is this the plateau I have been hearing about
I cranked it to 250 at the 12 hour mark and its up to 165 at 14 hrs. I probably should have started out a little hotter last night as it got pretty cold out
oh my GOD!!! This pulled pork was the absolute best I have ever had!! First the ribs now the butt!!!! Pulled it out of the smokette at 200* and when I picked it up off the rack it started to fall apart
My 2 reasons for buying the CS was ribs and pulled pork and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!
