Well, the 009 arrived on Monday, I seasoned it, and then I smoked my first pork butt. Went in at 11 PM Monday night with an internal temperature of 39F and came out yesterday at 5 PM with an internal temperature of 195F. I double wrapped it in foil, wrapped it in a towel, stuck it in the cooler and let it sit for another two hours. Took it out around 7 PM, and man was it good.
This is my first time smoking, and I like the results. I used 3 oz of hickory. I want to try apple next.
