Today I couldnt resist, the first thing I smoked was jaerky. I used q-dogg method with a variation of only the temp. I used 190 constantly.The whole process took about 5 hrs. The results were second to none! Perfect texture, not too dry, excellent flavor. I used 3oz. hickory and followed hi mountain original to a t.I used my st with stainless rods like hippie said.This is definatley the way to do jerky, a big thanks to all for input!Im hooked!!!!!!!!
