As promised, a link to the small movie I made outlining my first smoke on the 09. A 6.5 Butt smoked using about 4 oz. hickory, total of 14 hours before wrapping in foil, newspaper and into the cooler for 3 hours. It was ABSOLUTELY GREAT BBQ! Much better than the local joints, they're either way too dry or juiced up after the fact. Family was very impressed, and I'm going to kill to do ribs very soon!
This pork was moist, pulled very easily, and the flavor was outstanding. I'm very impressed with this smoker. Didn't open the door once, just let her ride!
