When assembled properly, it smokes like a champ. Pork loin done today was good, but lacked smoke flavor, as I didn't figure it out until it was done. Oh well, practice, practice, practice.

Thanks to all who gave advice concerning my previous post about no smoke from my new smokette. It finally hit me that it looked like the wood box was designed to slide on the heating element rather than sit on top of it! DOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
