A few months back, we talked about Chicken and how the newer chickens and growth hormones affecting the color of the internal chicken.

Anyone have the URL / Website with the photos.

I searched our archives, but couldn't find it so maybe someone kept it.

Yuck!

I haven't had chickens looking like this, but I have sometimes noticed a dark, greyish brown look in certain areas of the white meat. I bet it's the leaking blood that's just more cooked. Wouldn't be noticed in dark meat, but makes the white meat a lot less appetizing.

I guess the other solution is to use boneless chicken. Maybe that's one reason why more and more restaurant dishes are going that way.
