the more i browse fooddownunder the more i'm impressed. i type 'marinades' in the search bar on the site and also 'rubs'. there are litterally thousands of recipes for rubs and marinades from all over the world that seem to suit smokers perfectly.
if anyone knows of simmilar or better sites (besides cs) please share!

Good morning, dundee- Here's one site I'm partial to: http://bbq.about.com/od/saucesmarinades/ Another one: http://www.thesmokering.com/ Both of these sites have lots of good info about all aspects of smoking.
Are you close to Perth/Freemantle by any chance? I was in the Navy back when and received one of the warmest receptions and had the greatest time when we put into Western Australia. You've got a great country. Enjoy the links! Brian

there is a site called,I think, Ringoffire. it even has music on it.Let me try to find it.Come to think of it,if you go to mainely Dave's site he has areference to it.He also has great pictures and amusing and useful dialogue with his smoking experiences. I will find it and let you know.
PS there was a great discussion about what music to play while cooking and eating bbq too
