It was a great weekend for the contest, and the site was really team friendly...minus the little walk to the turn in tent. Used my FEC-100 (old school model-straight feed to the firepot) to do some of the cooking. Cooking with Dallas of Double D's BBQ we placed in all catagories, and came away with Reserve Grand Champion...7 points off of Grand Champion. After cooking in the never to be forgotten Monsoon in Fairbanks, IN it was great to get a dry cook in the pocket...since I fried out my controller in Fairbanks. Was a great dry run practice before heading out next weekend for the largest contest in Ohio in Kettering.

Hope that Ford can bring out his new toy....green with envy here....but, megga cudos to ya Ford...look forward to seeing you in Kettering....
