well looks like hurricane dennis is headed our way,we are batting down the hatches & will ride it out.I won't be able to use the CS but I do have some Q left in the freezer which is what the generator is for,Hmmmm maybe I can use the generator for the CS.naw I better not I don't want to lose everything in the freezer.the last hurricane we had we lost power for 2&1/2 weeks.I will get back with you all after we get power back & get back on the puter, however long that may be.keep us in your prayers,& God Bless.

Well! We won't be on the deck BBQ/smoking with the Cookshack for the rest of the weekend. We have the only amateur (AREC) radio station on the island and if Dennis turns this way more we will ride it out as long as we can. Then leave while the road is still open. Someone said they have 20 foot snow drifts in Montana and close the roads - about right now that sounds better than 120 mile per hour winds. Big Grin

Other than a blow and some rain I think we
are ok this time on the east coast of Florida
...I am certainly not looking forward to August thru October...had $10,000 of damage to house
and car from Charley last year, it hit hard in
Port Orange. Then with Francis we were without
power for 2 weeks. ugh...

My thought and prayers are will all of you folks
who are getting hit...

thanks all.worked all day getting boarded up & getting ready,& waiting.I hate waiting, reminds me of waiting to getting my CS,just could'nt wait any longer.we are supposed to start feeling the storm around 4 am sun.morn,& supposed to make landfall around 7pm sun.night with winds of 135-150 mph unless it changes its mind, thats why they call them hurricanes(heracanes)instead of himacanes.ha-ha I guess I will get a lot of slack from that one.good luck to everyone that will be affected from this storm.
