RV parks usually let you dump for a small fee. Some service stations.. such as Flying J's have dump sites. Also, check with your municipal sewage site. Many have dumps. There may be many other places. You could check with RV repair places.. they almost have to have some sort of dump for when they are repairing dump tanks on RV's. Most of these places also have fresh water located away from the sewer dumps. Many have a fresh water tap at the dumps for rinsing out the gray/black water tanks.. but don't use this tap for potable water.

I would think that regular street storm sewers would be OK too. If you wash your car/truck on the street, maybe even degrease the engine, that soapy water goes down the storm drain so why not soapy water from your grey water tank? I usually go the Flying J route because of the convenience of being able to fill the fresh water tank and fuel up at the same place.

Here in Calif you would not want to dump grease and oil down the sewer. Probably not anywhere if you care about fish populations. Lot's of folks do it but street drains eventually find their way to a treatment pond and that into the rivers. Car washes are probably fine if the owner doesn't catch you.. Confused

There are too many legal places to dump and dump with a clear concience.. IMO.

WeeWilly....couldn't agree with you more. Try to convince the folks in East LA and you will really have accomplished something Wink Meanwhile the plant at Rosecrans & PCH keeps on pumping "treated sewage" (sic: Blackwater) into the Manhattan Beach area and no one seems concerned.....go figure! Confused
