Great American Barbecue Festival

well known contest, you'll see people in the FE Comp forum talking about it over the years.

It's basically put on by the same people that used to do the American Royal and it's pretty big.

Yep, gonna be more than chicken skin thats crisp,GUARANTEED, I think.(LOL)

They say no more showers after 5 pm today thru Sunday, we'll see?

Good Q'ing to those cooken this weekend.

We just dropped off our trailer and set up our tent at the GAB. Gonna hang out at the house today, trim meat tonight and relax tonight before we head back out there tomorrow morning. A lot of teams were getting there when we were leaving.

Hopefully no traditional storms/winds,where the teams all go to the far end and pick up all the pieces of EZ UPs to see if they can make one,when it is all over.

So much for the rain stopping at 5pm. Here is a couple pictures of some setting up.

I just went through all those pictures at the first link you posted, cal. It's strange, but now I want a Bacon Explosion. I wonder why? It's like there was some sort of subliminal theme going on there ...
