Hammond, LA Cookoff

Just found out I will be in Alabama for business the week following the Hammond, LA BBQ cookoff. I always like the challenge of trying to put together the gear and stuff long distance just for the fun of cooking somewhere exotic (Hammond is exotic relative to Vancouver, WA).

Anyone live nearby that is going to this event? Or would like to cook in a KCBS event and is looking for a team-mate to share the work/rewards?
