Other than the fact that they live next door to each other, I'd say everything. Check each one's website, there is no mystery. That said, I would say the connection is success........
No connection. They're both from Ponca City, about 100 yards apart and they're good friends.

I went to the Head Country site and read about his successes.It's great that 2 OK business can co-operate to give BBQ lessons and make delicious products.
