Help...Wood Box is Missing

Just got a Model 50 for a Christmas Gift and uncrated it today. Was all ready to get things set up for a big family dinner tomorrow and now see that the unit came without the wood box. Everything else seems to be there. Cookshack C/S is closed until Monday and I was planning on using it now. Any ideas? Can I improvise somehow?

Dave,

First let me say that I am sorry that we didn't get the woodbox in your unit. If the housing is there that holds the woodbox in place, you could use the unit without the woodbox by placing the wood in the housing. It will be a little bit of a mess to clean up and the ash will be in the housing, but the unit will work fine and you won't hurt anything.

Again my appologies for leaving the woodbox out of your unit.
