I just found this forum last night. I was searching for info on a Q cookoff in Charleston SC this weekend and found the forum. I have owned my smokette for prolly 7 yrs and love to use it. It cooks the best product around. My buddies can't figure out how I can go fishing while cooking and the product is fabulous! I live here along the coast of SC bout 50 yrds from the saltwater marsh and 200 yrds from the ocean and the Smokette has held up amazingly well. Actually, it has outlast 2 grills.
