Russ was in the top for Ribs and Pork. And even better 3rd overall. Couldn't hear on the phone what his actuall call was, but I'm sure he will post them. GREAT BIG CONGRATS RUSS.

Well, just got back to the PC (haven't been on one for 10 days).
Did this contest, took the week and stayed in Hot Springs for vacation and cooked in Fayetteville this weekend (got 6th out of 41 there).
Yeah, we had a LOT of fun the week after the contest. Helps when you win a LOT of money and beat a lot of great teams. Fred and Annie (Wizards of Que) have a house there and we did some boating on the lake.
We missed RGC by less than a point. We do really well in these big contests, just can't get over that last hump....YET!
Really great event, we got 3rd in ribs and 5th in pork out of 95 teams. Good spot, good event, lots of music and fun and SERIOUS competion.
Funny thing was we turned in better ribs and better pork in Fayetteville and didn't get a top 5 call. But did get calls in Chicken and Brisket)....
