I currently use a Weber smoker and am tired of adding more fuel every hour. I am interested in getting an electric smoker and I am wondering how often do you have to add wood to the cookshack smoker when smoking something all day?
With the cookshack, I only add wood at the begining and let it go. You will be amazed at how little wood is needed (usually about 2-4 oz for 10 lbs). The cookshack holds the smoke in and since it is not used as fuel a little goes a long ways.
You never even need to open the door to add anything at all. Put the meat in, put a little wood in the box, stick a polder probe in the meat, shut the door, turn it on, when it's done, it's done! How cool is that?
