how much smoke is generated?

Based on me firing up my new 009, It appears to produce a steady stream of smoke out of the top which is not very forceful. The only problem you might ahve is not from the top but when you open the unit. I am sure there is quite a bit of smoke realeased when the door is open.

I produce more smoke enjoying a fine cigar than my smokette produces

three screen walls should be quite good. you may want to have a fan out there just to keep air moving through and out of the room. the volume of smoke is not that great, but the "smokey" smell will stick around lest you push it on out.

I agree with woodburner. It's not so much the quantity of smoke, since you're only burning a few chunks, but the wood smell will stick to anything it gets on.

The smoke will leak around the door for a couple of smokes, but then it settles down and only come out the top. Remember also, just because you don't "see" smoke, doesn't mean it's not there. Clean smoke is there and will still smell up the place.

Get a fan to force it outside.
