Replies sorted oldest to newest

If it's your first time, I would do 2 or 3. Too much wood will ruin it. We seem to get a fair amount of comments when people use 4oz that it's too much.

For a first time, I'd be careful, if you oversmoke it, you won't eat it.

If this time is too much, cut back. If it's not enough (always check it the next day because the smoke taste intensifies) then add more your next smoke.

One or two cooks, you'll have it down and then you'll know.
