I bought one bag of each, Apple and Cherry from BBQ Galore, also had a bag of Mesquite and some home cut oak and hickory....Still have plenty of wood left, never really gave it that much thought?? I have had my current wood stash since before last spring...so it's coming up on one year for the apple ands cherry.

I only used an ounce or two per smoke, so I could have a couple of hickory logs (split) that would last me a long time.

I always laughed, because I would get out my reciprocating saw to cut the chunks...

I got to the point where I knew exactly how much to "chunk" off.

Florida hickory is mighty fine, I have a friend in Fort White that keeps me supplied.
