How to set the Thermacouple in a SM009

Has anyone ever tweeked the therma-couple setting in a SM009. My new unit is off by 50 degrees everything else is fine. There has to be a pot adjustment under that cover somewhere.

While it "may" sound like an easy thing, I'm sure CS's answer would be that you'll invalidate the warranty if you start tweaking. It's not something I've ever heard of CS doing, let alone having a customer attempt.

Since I've never heard of anyone even wanting to do that I'd say call Customer Service first.
