New guy on the block here. Just wanted to say "Hi" and let you guys know ya'll are the reason I ordered a Cookshack instead of one of the competitors. I am a net junkie and if I can't find what I am looking for on the net, it must not exist, and the Cookshack defenitely seems to have some of the best net support.
My smoker should be here today, and while I am sorely tempted to make a brisket first (I am a native Texan after all) I will bow to the wisdom of these boards and do a pork butt first.I have my thermometer and roll of heavy duty foil, now all thats left is to figure out which rub to make, or to use the cookshack stuff that comes with the smoker.
